Everything stays on your phone

Everything you write in Arcana stays on your phone. There is no account and no cloud. Nobody can read what you write — not even we who built the app. We run no servers that store your data, no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising.

One exception, by kind

When the app asks the wizard for advice, it sends fixed words from the app's own lists: the qualities you work with (“Warmth”), colour, feeling and category names, today's public sky, and short excerpts of the wizard's own earlier advice so it does not repeat itself. If you have turned the stars on, your placements ride along as names (“Sun in Cancer”); never your birth date, time, or place. Never your own words. Vibrational tuning is the one room where what you type does travel, because a conversation is that room's whole purpose; it is sent for the reply and kept nowhere.

These requests pass through our relay, which stores nothing about you, to a language-model provider; no account identifier, name, or device identifier travels with them. Offline, the wizard speaks from the built-in library.

The Guild

Guild members send one anonymous store identifier when fetching courses, so the server can confirm the membership and return the member material. It carries no name, no writing, and nothing else.

Fixing failures

Whenever the app does not do what it should — a call that fails, to the wizard, the sky reading, the shelves, the Guild's store, your photos or the phone's own storage, or a step you could not get through, like the birth date and place — the phone sends one small technical report so we can fix it: what went wrong, in a fixed word from a list, how long it waited, the app build, the platform and the language. For daily counsel, it also carries which fixed wizard model answered, the candidate lane, request and response character counts and structure, response status, the fallback or seal decision, and which mechanical gate refused the reply.

The report carries nothing about you. Not your name, not your IP address, not your birth date, time or place, not the desires you are working with, not a word you have written or the wizard has answered, and no identifier for you or your phone. It cannot be traced back to you, and we could not trace it if we tried.

Your record is yours

You can export everything the app holds as one readable file, at any time, from Settings — and delete it all just as easily. If you delete the app, the record goes with it; we could not recover it for you even if you asked, because we never had it.
